Rivers Langley Comedy Hour

Rivers Langley is a stand-up comedian and podcaster based in Los Angeles, California. Rivers moved west from the State of Alabama in 2012 pursuing both stand-up comedy and the whispered advice of a dying prospector promising "gold in them thar hills." Since then, Rivers has become host of The Goods from the Woods Podcast, the producer of the live shows Unnecessary Evil and Yellahammered, and a member of the sketch group Hush Money. His mining company folded in early 2013. Free admission.


Harriott II Friday Dinner Cruise

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN! SPRING CLEANING YARD SALE!!! Saturday, April 27th from 6-2. There will be so much here for you to browse through. Lots of furniture, records, books and glassware. Joy to Life’s Walk of Life

Shucktacular at The Tipping Point

Hampstead Community Realty presents "Shucktacular" - an epic, fun filled day of Raw Oysters, Craft Beer, Wine and Live Music. Oysters supplied by the famous Derk and live music with Brett Burcham. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Ticket includes oysters, beer/wine tastings, and garden party. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alabama Coastal Foundation. TroyFest Art & Craft Festival

Apr. 27-28. TroyFest, held in honor of Jean Lake, is the premier fine art & craft festival for the central Alabama region. This weekend-long show draw upwards of 10,000 people to downtown Troy to celebrate the arts. A wonderful selection of art, food, entertainment and activities will be offered for people of all ages. Urban Challenge

APR 27th | 9-11am | Tallapoosa St. Water Tower Entrance

Participants register in teams of two or four. Each team will be given 12 clues that will have you meandering through historic Downtown Montgomery on foot. The teams will have two hours to complete 9 of the 12 clues. At each location the teams may have to answer a question, perform a physical activity or have to participate in a food challenge. The first three teams that finish will win prizes! Proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Greater Montgomery’s Annual Campaign. Register online or day of (t-shirt not guaranteed). Join us for furniture flips, food trucks and lots of FUN - all benefiting Montgomery Habitat For Humanity. We're holding our own version of a "Flea Market Flip"! Local designers and DIYers alike will grab supplies from the Montgomery Habitat ReStore ( and 'flip' them into one of a kind pieces available during the day-of silent auction.
