After 12 years of working as a paralegal, Kim became stifled by her daily tasks and heeded the call of her inner social butterfly. Outside of work, Kim was often planning parties, class reunions, or serving on the board of local women’s societies and recognized her passion for social activity. With no experience in publishing, journalism, marketing or entrepreneurship, she used her paralegal prowess to research her options and driven by blind ambition, cashed in her IRA account to start RSVP. Committed to her vision, she has tackled every challenge and mastered numerous skills over the past seven years where she has served as Owner and Publisher of RSVP. Her energetic spirit is magnetic and her optimistic attitude sets the pace for her team. This contagious enthusiasm was best captured by the Montgomery Business Journal who described her as someone who “talks fast, walks fast, and whose business has grown fast.” She loves our city and has been an excellent cheerleader promoting all that our River Region offers. Kim serves on the board for the Montgomery Humane Society, The Montgomery Zoo and assists with many campaigns for the American Cancer Society. Her favorite thing to do is watching daughters Shelby (21) and Payton (18) play college volleyball, but everyone that knows her would agree that we cannot fail to mention the other love of her life, her black lab Roxy. Serving as the “social mayor” of Montgomery and balancing many other roles has earned her the nickname of “Kimpossible” by the RSVP girls.
